\nYES! All Carl Victor’s cookware are optimal for use on induction (except for the outdoor products). As cast iron is a very magnetic material.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>YES! All Carl Victor’s cookware works on all types of stoves.
\nThey even work on open fire (NOTE! except for the pans with wooden handles).<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>Carl Victor cast iron products conduct and retain heat both evenly and well, which also results in a very energy saving cooking.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>All Carl Victor’s cast iron products are made without any added chemicals or other toxic substances.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>Carl Victor’s cast iron products contain no chemicals that you can scratch off while cooking.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>Rust stains are removed with steel wool (if difficult infested with steel brush).
\n<\/span>Grease the pan with plenty of vegetableoil.\u00a0<\/span>Place the pan in the oven at 175 \u00b0 -200 \u00b0 C for 15-30 minutes or until the oil has dried up.\u00a0<\/span>When the it has cooled down – wipe of remaining oil with paper towels.
\nNOTE!\u00a0<\/span>Do not put pans with wooden handles in oven.\u00a0<\/span>These are instead to be put on the stove.\u00a0<\/span>Put stove on medium heat and let pan stand for 10-15 minutes.\u00a0<\/span>Turn off the stove and let the pan remain on the stove until completely cold.\u00a0<\/span>Do not overheat the pan.\u00a0<\/span>Remember to have good ventilation – this procedure can create strong odors.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>All Carl Victor’s products are made of pure cast iron and seasoned in vegetable oil.\u00a0<\/span>There is nothing in these subjects that makes food burn or stick, unless the temperature is not too high or if you do not use grease, not intended for cooking.\u00a0<\/span>Some fats and oils are not intended to cook in, such as\u00a0<\/span>some margarines.
\nThe right frying temperature (regardless of vessel) is between +180 \u00b0- 200C \u00b0.
\n<\/span>A common reason may be that the vessel is washed with soap, which dries out the vessel, and should then be reseasoned.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>If so, it can be the seasoningl that has dissolved from the container, and thus there is no protection left.
\n<\/span>Whatever the problem is easily fixed – Boil out the vessel with water.\u00a0<\/span>Pour out the water and let the container dry, for instance <\/span>on the stoves after-heat.
\n<\/span>Then follow the above instructions on question 7.
\n<\/span><\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>All Carl Victor’s products are seasoned in vegetable oil. Carl Victor does not use any chemicals or other toxic substances for the coating.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>All the Carl Victor cookware is supposed to have concave bottoms. Is it not concave, it will be rounded by heating, which means that it will wiggle on the stove.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>YES! All Carl Victor’s cast iron products will work in the oven (NOTE! except for the pans with wooden handles).<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>YES! All Carl Victor glass lids withstand oven heat up to 230C\u00b0, and the cast iron lids maximum heat in oven.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>It is not recommended to store food too long in a cast iron vessel.\u00a0<\/span>All vessels, regardless of materials, which are designed for cooking in is unsuitable for use as storage containers.\u00a0<\/span>If stored long enough the cast iron often begin to rust.
\n<\/span><\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>In Carl Victor’s cast iron cookware all kinds of tools can be used. However, one should be wary of gear in plastic, they may melt at high heat.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>All knobs on the Carl Victors products are made of pure seasoned cast iron.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>The W in the product name stands for Wooden handle.
